This famous TANKS! Series episode focuses on German and British tank designs in North Africa. Although, the British had some inspirited tank designs during World War II, they proved seriously problematic. The British eventually turned to the American Sherman to solve this problem. The German tanks weren't giants in North Africa. However, their tactics were. The German's were still the master's of the battlefield when it came to tactics. The introduction of the Tiger in North Africa was an incredible shock to the allies. Completely impervious to any allied tank gun the Tiger could pick off any allied tank from at least 3,000 meters. Theres a story and legend,that when first tiger arived in african front and was used in battle he alone destroyd 10 corweals and 10 crusaders alone,british culdnt belive that sucha machine exists at end they destroyd infamus tiger crew and there tank by sourding him in some vieleg and shooting him from 3 sides at close range.
