Fiery Zulfiqar Mirza continues bashing MQM, Rehman Malik
KARACHI: Former Sindh Home Minister Zulfiqar Mirza once again lashed out against the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) and interior minister Rehman Malik, Express 24/7 reported on Sunday.

Speaking to the media in Karachi, Mirza said that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) joining hands with the MQM is not in favour of Pakistan.

A visibly angry Mirza lashed out at his own party for again shaking hands with the MQM, terming the PPP-MQM alliance "unholy".

He also announced that he would undertake a movement against the PPP-MQM alliance very soon.

Mirza said that the Peoples Aman Committee will work not just for the people of Lyari but for the entire city. He said that the Committee will "wage war" against the MQM workers, who are "exploiting and looting" the citizens of Karachi.

The former home minister further said that if the Aman Committee's name is associated with any crime without evidence, we will consider that person "an associate of Altaf Hussain."

"Shaitan Malik"

Taking pot shots at the interior minister including terming him "Shaitan Malik", Mirza said that if Rehman Malik had "enough courage", he should come to Lyari and announce the ban on the Aman Committee.

"And if he does so, I will go to Islamabad and salute him," Mirza said.

Mirza also expressed his disappointment towards the Supreme Court's verdict on Karachi violence suo motu case. However, he said he respects the decision as he is a "law abiding citizen."

Today's press conference was a continuation of Mirza's ongoing diatribe against the MQM and Rehman Malik.

In earlier press conferences, he accused the MQM of treason and claimed that the party was planning on acquiring nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles.

Among the more specific allegations levelled by Mirza was the charge that Babar Ghauri, the former minister for ports and shipping, used his position to divert some of the arms and ammunition meant for Nato forces in Afghanistan towards use by alleged MQM-backed militant and criminal groups.
Alliance with MQM plot to break up country: Mirza KARACHI: Pakistan People's Party (PPP) leader Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza Sunday once again reiterated that any alliance with Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) was in no way less than being part of a conspiracy to break up the country, Geo News reported.

Talking to media men here at the airport, Dr. Mirza his bravery and telling the truth will eventually prove an act of gratification for President Asif Zardari.

He said he would be collecting all the evidence against MQM and taking it to London for presenting it before the concerned authorities. He vowed to expose the true face of MQM Chief Altaf Hussain to the world.

The PPP leader, who had earlier resigned as Sindh Minister and member of assembly, said he would announce his future course of action by 5 PM Monday.

He said the verdict handed down by the Supreme Court on Karachi suo moto case had caused frustration. "The thugs and law-abiding citizens have been put into the same basket," he regretted.

Dr. Mirza termed the inclusion of Jamat-e-Islami in the list of extortionists as unfair and opposed the SC verdict.

This is the real face of Capitalism.Journalists are encouragd to investigate matters related to Taliban, and if they are killed in this pursuit, they are declared Shaheeds who died in the pursuit of Truth. TV management accords their families financial support, but where the TV channels interests are threatened, the journalists are asked to stop giving coverage to such issues. Similiar is the case here in Karachi where journalists are not encouraged by the TV management to investigate the truth

While Taliban pose threat to life of Journalists but they do not pose any threat to the Financial position of Channels, because Taliban do not have the power to intimidate industrialists so that they dont give adds to TV channels. BUT MQM threatens life of journalists as well as the financial position of Channels. MQM intimidate industrialists, firms companies to stop giving adds to TV channels which work against MQM. The TV Channel management can lose life of journalists but cant lose Finances

even a child of 5 years knows that MQM and ANP are terrorist political groups. They kill innocent people. These political parties are dangerous then Tehreek Taliban,DG Rangers admited it. MQM is worst the Taliban. But You would be surprise to learn that All media men, army and people are displaying great determination against Taliban even when they kill people and threat people. But no one has the courage to speak against MQM. media fear for life, Channels wont get any adds bcz of MQM TERROR
