Look, im a Manc, I also worship Oasis. However I also buzz off the Stone Roses. I believe Liam Gallagher probably did take a lot of inspiration from Ian Brown, but mainly i think it just comes down to them just actually having a smiliar attitude and being the same kinda Mancunians. Although to be fair, even though i personally prefer Oasis, has to be said Ian Brown is probably more of a sophisticated fella than Liam Gallagher lol.
