Ok, why don't you guys get it?! He's trying to HELP YOU! Universal Health Care is a GOOD THING! I am from Canada and quite frankly, I'd rather have life saving surgery for free, rather than pay $50,000 for it. I feel for you so much, Obama wants to "force" you to have FREE Health Care. Poor You. Give me a break! Regardless of what you partisan Republicans complain about, 73% of Americans DO want Universal Health Care! Can you please explain to me why not having to pay for Health Care is bad?

You must have missed the $1.7 trillion dollar price tag. That's not free.

That's an increase over our current healthcare.

He wants to force me to have his healthcare, not my own.

And your numbers are off, only 34% of Americans support his socialist plan at the moment.

That number is all over the news here in the States.

There are mobs and riots at meetings where Representatives are trying to sell us his plan.

It's not an option and even Obama admited that last night.

He flat out said it was mandatory and that he plans to have at least 97% of Americans on it.

Please don't misrepresent the facts:

The majority of Americans did not vote for him (less than 23% did) but the majority of those who voted - voted for him, by 7 million votes.

23% of the American population is far from a majority of Americans.

You know here is the thing, He claims it will not eliminate private insurance, yet at other times he admits that his ultimate goal is to eliminate private insurance. There was one video I saw where he compared his healthcare plan to the post office and how bad the post office was doing, thereby proving how bad government programs are.

It is FREE because the next you have surgery you won't have to spend $50,000. There are 300 million people in America, 600 billion divided by 300 million is about 2000. You will over time spend $2000 as opposed to $50,000. And if only 34% of Americans support him, then why was it that on American news networks (CNN for example) yesterday that 73% of Americans want Universal Health Care. I think it's sad that Conservatives throw out all these facts sand have no argument to back it up.
