John should have stuck to the swamp music songs like the Old Man Down the Road. The later songs just didn't have the kinda sound that made him famous. John does and awesome job on guitar with Keith Urban on the video for Centerfield..check it out. Rock on!

when I saw ccr in 72 they used Kustom amps. John fogerty could use any amp, and he would sound like .... well, like John Fogerty. The sound is in his touch, his soul, his fingers. Ever notice that doesnt matter whether he's playing an old gretsch, a dot neck 335, a p90 les paul, or a PRS. You can tell its him playing before you every see him or hear a sung word ?
