  • Lol I grew up listening to Pitchshifter, thanks to my dad. I find it hard to be one of the only 16 year olds who enjoys Pitchshifter, Dead Kennedys and other great bands. Sadly great music is rarely heard.

  • This band is the smartest metal band I've ever heard. Awesome album cover. Church of State. No other bands are this much pure rebel. They sound libertarian/anarchist/individualist more than any other punk band. Such great lyrics... read "The Ominous Parallels" by Peikoff, and "Unintended Consequences" by John Ross and "The Creature From Jekyll Island" by G Edward Griffin, to get an idea where the USA and UK are going... To the new Fascist World. Smart rebellion. These guys should get rich.

  • @heywoodjablohme idk bout libertarian, but definately anarchist. libertarians fucked up europe

  • @heywoodjablohme I used to wear my deviant shirt thinking I was the fucking dog's bollocks, now only has everything clicked for me, 7 this was in 2000 truly prophetic. Long live Pitchshifter.

  • @heywoodjablohme the book atlas shrugged has certain characters in us government right now down to a T and the book describes exactly what is going on in govt today. everyone that reads it gets fucking goosebumps when they realize it !

and you will too ! WHO IS JOHN GALT ! ?

  • @AlonsusZerka It's funny, bassist and drummer of pitchshifter formed a metal project that had Amen's vocalist do a guest track. see if you can find "Incite" by This Is Menace.

  • best album

  • Only 'mainstream' band I've heard that comes close to being this anarchic is Amen.. both pretty different musical styles but both sick as.

  • Pitchshifter were/are a very underated and overlooked group, maybe they were in the shadow of Skunk Anansie in the ninties!
