Ballo Pubblico in a Festival which put together contemporary dance, public, architecture and urban spaces. The main object is to give to contemporary dance a winning and seductive image.
The idea to host dance in the urban spaces of a city give us a new key to the reading of these spaces. Through the language of dance, people could live the spaces learning to look in a new way a place or a street.
The Festival is affiliated to the International circuit of CQD (Ciudades que Danzan), a network which put together several Urban Contemporary Dance Festival, both in Europe both in South America. Ciudades Que Danzan try to promote a new collaboration and a new Exchange between the National and International research center.
Inside the Festival Fenice, International Festival of Nine Arts, BALLO PUBBLICO outdoor is the section dedicated to Contemporary Dance in urban spaces..
