What can I say; it's a simple burn out. I was not trying to nail a low 0 to 60 or anything. But I do know that when I looked at the speedometer at about the end of this video it said I was doing 70+mph and growing. I then backed it down at about 77 or 78 ish.
hard to tell with a digital tach

Note: The camera man was trying to race me so that really killed the effect.

  • @bighunt08 i am a corvette fan but the argument of detuning power is kinda silly..thats just advertising mumbo jumbo, they had to detune power because the class they chose to run in has a power restriction to keep costs down.

  • Saying that modern American sports cars can't take corners is like saying the Brits won the revolution, it's just false. Corvette racing had to DEtune their engines bfr being allowed to compete with the so called other world class cars, if Europe has such potent cars why can't they keep up? Btw this whole argument has nothing to do with the vid haha.

  • Europeans often talk about how unsophisticated American sports cars are but they always pull their conclusions from something they saw on one of their homegrown tv shows. Corvettes had active suspension in the late 80's bfr Europe did, the b2k hit 250mph long bfr Europe did. Ferrari used designs from Cadillac to build their new sports cars.

  • In scare of reopening a now 10 month old argument, why would u even bother listening to a guy as biased as "joaqinveyron"? He even uses the name of what is now the worlds second fastest prod. car in his name.

  • @bronxboyXXX "you will get close to 50K more i"

Yeah, thats what I am saying. You get around 50 tp 80 km of range.

"or I'm going to block you"

    Hahahahahaha :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

  • @joaquinveyron 80K is not even a true representation of how far it would go on a track at open throttle. The true day to day figure is closer to 402k & you will get close to 50K more if you don't gun it all the time. & That's an H2 Dummy!

Look, I have 0 tolerance for immaturity. Stop with the Top Gear post or I'm going to block you. The show is extremely deceptive. It often exaggerates, falsifies & has been caught sabotaging test like with the Tesla.

  • @bronxboyXXX "3. The Tesla goes way more than 80 km! J. Clarkson was even forced to retract that statement."

Hahahaha, yeah sure, because it wasnt the 'official" number for the MPG-figure, but the 80 km range is the real day-to-day figure.

  • @bronxboyXXX

OMG, let's get some common sense into this. It is dearly necessary:

This is for your idiotic ZR1:

    watch?v=HL23PU2FKa4

You said the H1 outperforms the Land Rover?? :-) Are you taking drugs, boy???

    Watch this: watch?v=gNAIkOfF38M

You have to wait until the scene where the Hummer goes nowhere in an uphill challenge.

  • @joaquinveyron Oh yeah & not only do the H1 outperform the Land Rover Range rover at every off road task, they're Fucking Cool! You roll up in a Range rover & ill take the H1 & I bet you I get more rock star status than you anywhere we go. Nobody will even notice you driving next to me.
