Boohey barian by Hadiqa Kiani. Punjabi song from her 1999 album Roshni. Boohey Barian are two Punjabi words for "Doors" and "Windows". Rough translation in English: If I have to; I will cross doors, windows, lakes and walls and come to you like a gush of wind, God made me for you, as if your name was carved on my forehaed.

The song was copied as "Hum Tumhare Hain, Tumhare Sanam" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5e_-Y-efJg as a title song for Bollywood film starring Shahrukh Khan and Madhuri Dixit. Kiani song was also copied in India as "Dil laga liya mainay tumse pyar kar kay" for the Bollywood film "Dil Hai Tumhara". Another song from Kiani "Mahi" was copied by Indian as "Jaane kya" for a Bollywood film "Pyar Ke Side Effects". Hadiqa Kiani, born 1974 in Pakistan, released her debut album "Raaz" (Secret) in 1995, followed by Roshni (Light) 1998; album "Rung" (Colors) 2002; all English "Rough Cut" with Aamir Zaki in 2007; "O'Aasmaa" (Oh Sky) in 2009/2010. In 1997, she became the first Asian singer ever to perform on the British National Lottery Live BBC1 (estimated viewership 16.6 million). She performed live concerts in USA; Canada; UK; Middle East; Far East; Australia; Norway; Greece; Bulgaria, amd Turkey. • @786nath You need to do your research before you go around accusing.

  • An absolutle classic, this song will go on forever!

  • @radiance29 exactly, because whenever i start listening to this video, it reminds me directly of dil laga liya!!! haha!

  • @786nath and @MissyPride.. This song was released in1999 whereas Hum tumhare hain sanam was released in 2002. This clearly shows who blatantly copied who.Get your facts straight before you make any accusations... Apparently the indians made not only one but two songs by copying this one... UNREAL! One is the title song of hum tumhare hain sanam, another one is dil laga liya from the movie dil hain tumhara... So much for being and idiot and finding your own tune.. LOL...
