I would like to thank you for all the technology that went into making this all possible. I've listened to some of the greats on this site and it is a joyful experience, one I can't begin to thank you enough for. I love all of this music which I don't possess but I am able to listen to all of the greats from the past, present and future. Thanks

How can anybody with a love for music not love this man's work.....With his upbringing of gospel, ryhtym & blues, And his own gift of soul. he was an integral part of
our interpretation of musical talent .......Almost 48 years have passed since he left us, but through his recordings, hopefully following generations of people will discover what we already know..... His god given talent will possibly be never seen again....

I love the fact that no matter how much i listen to Sam and no matter how songs i listen to i can always seem to find another beautiful song ive never heard before. He recorded so much considering the relativey small amount of time it was in. I will never tire of hearing this mans voice.

Sam was one of the best and died tragically - most people have no idea. It was a sad, sad day when we lost Mr. Cooke.

When he was murdered it was like losing a member of the family. My children grew up with Sam's voice in our house and his pictures all over the place. People think he is a relative lol.
OOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMGGGGGGGG!!!! is it just me, or is this man's voice REALLY THIS ENCHANTING where it truly "sends you" to another place??? it amazes me just how "hypnotic" his voice is (and he's been dead longer than i've been living..lol)!! can you guys FATHOM what he did to those "fortunate" ones who were able to see him in concert??? wow!!!! does anyone else feel me on this??? lol!!!!!

Sam "Mr. Soul" was one of the best singers of his time and even of our time today. I was fortunate to have seen him in concert three times; twice when he was leader of the Soul Stirrers and once after he went solo. He was very down-to-earth and when my teenage Gospel group went to see him, he talked with each of us individually. He invited us back the next month and when he saw us he said, "I told you fellas I would be back." Yes, he remembered us fourteen year old kids! The greatest voice!
