Tommy McGee, lead singer of Tommy McGee and the Baby Please, struck a chord with me. While in the FREEstate Workshop recording a few original songs for the FREEstate Acoustic Mixtape he decided to lay down a few covers for all of the viewers of our channel. He here plays "Dreams to Remember" by the legendary Otis Redding, who is one of my personal favorites of all time. This is actually the song that introduced Otis to the world. He was a valet/chauffer for the man who was supposed to sing this song and one day in the studio the guy gave up after constantly doing wrong and Otis Redding belted his way to the top.
