@amarone1956 Although I agree that real men walk out their squats, I must say that in the long run, mono's will save your hips. Dont get me wrong, its much more impressive to see a walked out squat. Just saying for longevity purposes......

Not to take anything away from todays lifters but I think that for many federations judges have become more lenient in to try to allow records to continue to be broken though they should not always be. Take a strength sport like olympic weightlifting for example, where records from the 80's still stand
