  • No i never played those, were they just as good, or better?

  • Personally, I liked them better. The gameplay was a bit different, but the two are still very similar.

  • Hey Ariashal, "theme" wasn't quite the song i was talking about. This is actually the song! On the installation screen i believe they loop the segment of this song played between 0:58-1:20. Last night i didnt listen long enough past the intro to know this was the one! Thanks for postin this man, crazy to know that other people have the same interests in songs that i thought only i liked, lol.

  • Oh, haha, I see what you mean!

And you're quite welcome -- I always loved the music to this game, and no one ever put it up! By the way, have you ever played Zeus or Poseidon? Eventually, I'll add their soundtracks as well.

  • I know, me too! I minimized the window once just so I could get the music. The song is called "Setup", but I renamed it theme. It /should/ be in my videos...somewhere. <.<

I never actually realized how many songs there were. xD

  • Just an interesting fact, but "Khepera" was the Egyptian god of the sun's rebirth, his head was that of a scarab beetle, and he rolled the sun into darkness at before sunset everyday.

  • the music really made the game for me. 1:03 is my favorite PC Gaming song

  • People say that this city has plenty of food to go around.

  • I believe Henry Beckett composed all this music. Where is the recognition for this man?

  • I'm 17 years old and this game is one of my first ones. I know I didn't play the first "The Legend of Zelda" and other very outdated games, my earliest ones are from mid-90s, but darn, now I feel myself old! I mean, I have this game for at least 10 years! 8D

  • damn, I accidentally pushed a "dont like" button ;/ But the song is so goood :)

  • This game had some of the most beautiful and memorable music of any game I've ever played. The immersion in this game was just fantastic, I remember playing it over and over and over, and waiting for those Pyramid complexes to build!

Thanks for all the memories, Pharaoh, you were the king!

  • one of the best strategy games ever...

  • Can't describe how much I love the game, it just makes me want to go to Egypt so bad.

  • Great times I had with this game...
