I may be called a wimp for saying this, but that version actually scares me. It's awesome that they made another background and different music.

i like the music in this beta stage.....adds a eerieness to the zone and the background works as well :P

God, I always hated Labyrinth Zone.

Shame whomever made this "beta", couldn't figure out a way to add back in the goggle monitors.
Waterless Labyrinth is still pretty cool though.

I played Sonic 2 Long Version Which is normal sonic 2 but it includes the finished version of the cut levels

Yeah, If you like to hear the "running out of air" music, you'll love it. And what is that purple stuff in it replacing the water? I imagined it as the toxic waste from Robotnik's toilet, But then again, that can melt hedgehogs in seconds, which would make the level impossible.
At least Labyrinth's water is a hell of a lot cleaner (^_^)
