Britain Burns: London riots rage with looting & clashes

Two days of angry clashes in parts of north London have seen 26 police officers injured and over 160 arrests. Small pockets of unrest remain active, according to Scotland Yard. It began as a peaceful protest demanding justice over the death of a 29-year-old man who was shot by police last Thursday. But things turned ugly when demonstrators began attacking police and setting fire to cars and buildings. The violence then spread to a neighbouring district.

no disrespect but if the public of the UK could possess half of the guns the US has access to we would have a whole new bunch of problems e.g the same idiots that caused the riots could get guns too easily, our violent crime would escalate gun crimes (if violent criminals get guns that = more murder) but i do agree that shops & people should be able to access other ways of defence e.g tazers & cs spray for the public would satisfy without lethal firearms around.
