hehe i love that man from the bottom of my heart, I just cant say God lol. But SRV has inspired not just me, I know that, but other people can feel that depth and feeling and the knowing how great of a person he is. You know, not tryin to promote my channel or anything but I did make a vid called SRV: A Beautiful Man that I wish more people would watch. Then ya fully understand the reasoning behind his success. It's mainly a few letters written by Tommy Shannon himself about Stevie. It's deep.

i was thinking along the same lines, welll said! i gets rediculous when someone strats saying things like that. (especially when speaking of guitarists) i mean ive been Wowed and amazed bu so many guitarists and im sure we all have but the first thought that comes to my mind is not awe man hes god... LOL its just a funny statement to make when youre inspired.

Actually, Stevie didn't like being called God, it made him uncomfortable, he thanked God every day for his second chance at life... When someone from the crowd yelled "Stevie, you're a God!" it put him in an akward state.
