What started just over two years ago as part of Cicero Town President Larry Dominick's vision for the New Cicero was today realized in total with the grand opening of the New Cicero Municipal Complex.
Hundreds of Cicero residents and families jammed the atrium of the New Cicero Municipal Complex for the grand opening ribbon cutting. Dominick thanked the key players who helped make this bold project happen: the Town Board, Town Employees and Town residents for believing in his vision for the New Cicero and the New Cicero Municipal Complex, the construction team of KR Miller, ZPD+A and Bulley & Andrews who helped deliver the project on time and on budget, as well as the Town's Project Manager Craig Pesek.
Cicero residents then filed into the Council Chambers to view the videography of the two-year construction project and for the Town Board to get on with the business of town government.
Refreshments and tours of the facility were provided to residents after the Town Board meeting, as were commemorative giveaways to memorialize this seminal day in the history of Larry Dominick's New Cicero.
