You know all those rocks in the mudflats along the Seward Highway? They disappear in the summer when the ground becomes soft again.
I like watching YouTube videos that I recognize. :-)

@sheabones0 Wow that's cool, I was wondering if those were rocks or just big chunks of ice... I can't wait to go back

@rjs11189 Yeah, as the water in the ground freezes, it expands, so the rocks have to go up. If possible, come visit in the summer. I understand it's waaaay more expensive, but it sure is worth it. August is usually beautiful, and is likely a bit cheaper than around June.
