Do you have to bake the cane? What is best?

@BeautyproofNL you don't have to you can just slice and bake when needed, but it is easier to store as a baked cane and it won't smudge, but it takes a while to find the right amount of time to bake it at

Reducing means pressing it to make it smaller. Reduce, Condense...etc.

no clay is not playdough it is fimo clay or polymer clay
