  • @tomperanteau By the way, I'm one of the "likes" and not the "dislikes".

  • Very nice! This was made the year our 401k accounts were still worth something.

  • I remember doing this on my families 54 footer... sad face i miss it sooo bad

  • Beautiful Boat.

  • :..( sone day.......

  • Qantas, $300 charge to cancel a booking and 12 weeks to process. Thanx, Fly Emirates

  • @diemfdie873 haha nice timing, I'm launching the boat tommorow, and leaving tuesday morning!

From new york to miami you're looking at about 2 weeks depending on weather. Crossing to the Bahamas takes a day, but you have to have a 'window' in the weather so you might have to wait for a bit.

Because I'm leaving from Lake Ontario I need around 8-9 days to get through the Erie canal though. All in all, I have until Sept 1st to be back in New York.

So ~40 days.. the rest is just Bahamas! =)

  • @superhornet59 how long would this take you to do this trip?

  • I bought a 25 foot sailboat in November, and I just finished first year university, so In two weeks (final work around the boat needed) I'm sailing her from NY to Miami to Bahamas. Watching this... I cant freakin wait :)
