What Happened to Jesus - Original Acoustic Christian Song

"What Happened to Jesus" is probably the boldest song I've written. Coming from a Christian family, I grew up noticing the world wasn't as perfect as it seemed before at a young age. I know I couldn't help the entire world, but I started mentoring and other little things. The story in the song is fictional so it doesn't target anyone, but hopefully we can see this world does need our help, and we can start helping by showing His love reflected through us in a non-judgmental way.

I'm an unsigned Christian singer/songwriter located in Oregon. I always enjoyed writing music, and so I thought about uploading my demo tracks to YouTube finally. Please share what you think!

I won't forget the face of that little child that day.
His tears streaming down wondering why his father left.
As I talked to him, he said his parents were divorced.
His father use to beat on him, and his mother acts if he's not there.

What happened to Jesus of which this country was found.
We don't know what is right anymore leaving us the way that we are now.

I couldn't help but notice how we try to think there is no God.
We want to be our own god to fit whatever we believe.
And how this child's mother couldn't go on anymore.
She was ready to kill herself, didn't care what happened to her son.

I remember this child crying in the corner.
