This one sure has changed though! All the bass is now gone, and it sounds just like it SHOULD.

  • Why after every slow whoop is there an echo of it before the next one?

  • It was like that on the clip I downloaded. I've since gotten rid of it using Audacity.

  • Also, just out of curiousity, is there a way to program how many times the whoop sounds before the voice or how many repitions of each? Thanks!!

  • I'm pretty sure there is.

  • What typre of speaker strobes do I hear in the UAlbany Fire Drill 4 series. They look like they are ET70WP's. I might be wrong though, they could be E50's or E7-/90's.

  • All the speakers you hear in my UAlbany vids are Wheelock E70s...

  • We have these at the college that i work at....went off 3x's last summer and only had a fire reported one time...2 times were false alarms

  • we have those at my college. we also have MTs and truealert voice evac systems

  • Can you make a continuous "Woop" vid?

  • The TV, Radio stations, and theater at my college have these.

  • lol - it doesnt say that b/c theres only one floor in the building

  • Don't forget "Do NOT use the elevators."

  • thats a neat unit is the circuits that play the voice recording inside the red box and can you rig one of thesa as a portable amp for an mp3 player, also have any of you folks ever seen an analog clock/PA speaker combo unit like in schools they are usually mounter above the classroom door, clock on the left speaker on the right and it has a dark gray metal panel

  • They're probably horn/lights, if they're from the 1970s. Most likely Simplex 4050 horns on 4050-80 light plates. We have a few of them at my college.
