i have one hooked up to a 12V psu rigged and my laptop. i can hear it 150+ft away in our warehouse and jam out to gangsta rap since were not aloud to jam to it on the in house system. Works pretty nice. alittle finicky on the High Freq on the EQ on my winamp input but its good enough for use at work.

@2009calibra 7 - 10 meters works the remote control, but 400 - 600 meters far you can catch the "channel". You know, for example in other cars in a row you can listen the same music...
