@driz86 improves balance and helps you stopping properly on two skates as most beginners can only stop with one skate on inside edge, not both skates

@JUSTINPLASK You might be digging into the ice too hard. Notice how he glides slowly to a stop. Also keep your hips and shoulders square.

@JUSTINPLASK you're turning your toe (inside edge) in and letting your heel/ankle slide outwards too much if you're not doing that intentionally. Really try to keep your shoulders and hips square to the slide, ie your upper body all facing the direction you want to slide laterally against and keep your foot pointed in the forward direction.

i did this no problem but i always seem to turn around and swing backwards after grinding to a halt, any advice
