Corona's Theater Company presents TEMPUS FUGIT Futuristic stilt men and poor mortals dance theatre This is very recent realisation spectacle. Tempus Fugit uses elements and themes of naturalistic inspiration like as sparkling jellyfishes, brittle and elegant creatures that moves nimbly and sinuously ; psychedelic butterflies wearing showy and coloured wings dance on stilts ; dancing gushing bodies create water clouds which frame their movements ; petals' falls and impetuous monsoons strike the interpreters of an Indian dance. . ..Actors, acrobats and dancers of Roberto Corona' s Company dress his inventions and interpreter his fantastic creatures. Tempus Fugit A little man, carried away by clouds of foam, abandons his troubled universe. Protected by his « travelling bath » he awakes in a timeless world. Very tall friars follow in procession his coffin-bath. Oppressed by the pulse of a time clock and the beat of his heart, the man changes his shape, recalls his children plays and instinctive desires. Fascinating creatures born as projections of his perverse fantasy. Everything is much greater than the reality : « tempus fugit » and nobody realizes it. Gentle and cruel visions alternate. Stay or go away ? From the spectacle it is possible to extract single scenes, pictures and choreographies useful for various events.
