cant they come up with good stuff? you mean something that does all the work for you? how about a 20 string guitar with a neck that curves around you like a halo? YES theres not much new under the sun in 2011...its the CRAFT of USING them that makes them GOOD. this instrument will give you AMAZING fidelity to use these OLD sounds. as for the WARMTH OF ANALOG or lack thereof mr Blueizzs, how much recording have you done? ithose kinds of differences are LOST in the mix.
I own the module and find the knobs useful to alter sounds quickly. The joystick is fine as long as you find a way to remove it when you take the unit away. I am overall extremely happy with the Origin. My only problem now the keyboard is out is that I also want the keyboard version.
Points of possible contention: 1.) arm fatigue from programming the front panel, and 2.) joystick wear & tear from frequent opening and closing of the module. Otherwise, this looks very intriguing.
Does this have the same sounds as on the Analog Laboratory (software)?
