  • I won't lie that sounds fantastic.. but for that amount I'd rather get something else..

  • @benbrunskill You're not listening to the whole demo then. Start at the beginning and try watching it. I think it sounds good. I'm just poor.

  • I like this guitar a lot, but to me, I don't see why I'd buy it for 3,800$. I just got a carvin for 1,200$ with koa, coil taps, and a piezo bridge. I think it sounds better IMO. Maybe it's the koa. However, I do believe PRS looks better, and more suave. Not saying this guitar is bad at all, but to me, someone on a budget, it's not worth 3,800$. Btw, sounds great, what effects is he using at 2:50?

  • Put a whammy on that, and i will never buy another axe in my life!

  • First, listen to the p22 demos with good headphones or speaker system. Secondly, if you're an acoustic purist then this is not for you. But if you're a modern guitar player and gigging musician with an open mind you should be able to instantly recognize how great this piezo sound is coming out of a PRS solidbody. PRS guitars are so naturally resonant that the acoustic qualities could only sound better amplified. Nothing will sound like our favorite acoustic but what a great live alternative!

  • Hopefully other manufacturers will do this too! My apologies for the cut-off.

  • Well, that sounds pretty good. Understanding that acoustics never sound as good to as they do unplugged. This is all moot since I'm a lefty. But hopefu

  • @benbrunskill It's a YouTube video, dude.

  • @benbrunskill Yup... It sounds like an acoustic sound from a solid body electric. A lot of factors make it different. It doesn't sound the same, but good luck getting a better acoustic sound out of a solid body electric. I'm impressed.

  • VERY good for an acoustic sound from an electric guitar. There are other choices for this, but that ain't bad...
