I gather this is line level out of your mixer, into the mic input. Did you adjust the levels on the D7000? If do you remember whether you needed to turn it tight down? Also I noticed that you had some slight clipping of the audio. Just wondering if this happened at the mixer stage or it clipped on the mic input of the D7000

How did you connect the mixer? I have tried the 1/8 by RCA to REC OUT on 3 of my mixers and cant get it to work :-( NIKON Tech support was no help.
