My first dilation after My Sex Change Operation. Join me on my first time dilating in Dr. Marci Bowers office, just 6 days after my genital reassignement surgery (GRS) from male to female.

Dilation is the process of inserting a stint inside my vagina in order to keep the vaginal canel from collapsing and healing over itself. It also helps to insure a good depth and width for my vagina, which is something that is important to most transsexuals. Dilation must be done 3 times a day for the first 6 weeks after surgery, at which point it can go down to once a day.

Average depth for neo-vaginas is 5.5 to 6.5 inches. Results depend mainly on pelvic bone structure rather than the amount of material available.

  • After awhile the dialation becomes really boring but something that I do every day except saturday and sunday. Its necessary but it gets very boring very quickly

  • @mirandaluc Ya, I can definitely see that. Right now I'm dialating 3 times a day for 15 minutes each time. Right now it's also pretty uncomfortable and sometimes even a little painful. I'm sure that the discomfort and pain will go away as I continue to heal, but at this point it's more of a chore than anything.

That being said, I'm still thrilled beyond belief that I can actually do this with my body... even if it's a chore.

  • No this was not TMI! I have to say that this is one feeling I can't relate to (yet)! It must be a whole range of emotions!

  • @grishno Right on! I'm thrilled to know that you are happy and you are becoming happy in your body. I love stuff like this and really enjoy seeing the transformations. transgendered people are tough as Hell. A lot of emotional, mental, and physical pain.

  • Cant wait till you get your first yeast infection!

  • i dont mean to be rude but why are you having a sex change you should be happy in your own body as that is the natural you but that is my opinion and i think you are brave for putting it on the web and telling everyone your life story about your sex change !!!!

  • lol ur ugly

  • @Ironzealot7531 That is not correct. You will discover that you are wrong. You brought up several issues and then confused them. You brought up lubrication. Factors affecting changes in the neovagina in response to the environment is a seperate issue than techniques which do not require any long term dilation. A third issue is the repair and wound healing using biomaterials. You are obsessed with inverting a penis and talking about that in isolation. That is not how Dushoff does the procedure.

  • @MsCclemente *sigh*

I done debating this issue. I don't know what you're not getting here. I'd just encourage you to examine YOUR OWN sources a bit more, and with time I think you'll understand why you're wrong.

In any case, I'm done. Laters XD

  • @Ironzealot7531 I am a doc so I don't need to learn any more science. I am not disputing my own argument. You think I am because you are looking at this from a one-dimensional perspective.

  • @MsCclemente I love how you actually give evidence which disputes your own arguments and you don't even realize it.

    Seriously. Learn2science

  • @MsCclemente Lest you think it is a report on non-transsexuals, the title is Transsexualism: a long term follow up (author's translation). German article, summary F Pfafflin

  • @Ironzealot7531 You are ignorant of the science. "test excisions of the vagina were taken. The histologic examination showed a mataplasy..smooth and only discretely horny vaginal.. This functional adaptation-half had lubrication during sexual excitement- is attributed by the authors to the effects of estrogens given as well as frequency of sexual intercouse and time since surgery.
