Gary Lavelle has a 13 year major league career with the Giants, Blue Jays and A's where he posted a lifetime ERA of 2.93. Lavelle was a free agent out of high school and signed with the San Francisco Giants. After 7 years in the minor leagues, Lavelle broke into the majors and was selected to the national league all stars in 1977 and 1983. Lavelle's Giants record of all time appearances was recently broken by closer Rob Nenn.
