@xombieBeast13 LOL Where do you think Iron Maiden got their inspiration? Ever wonder how many times Steve Harris saw Lizzy growing up? And why do you think he has (or has had) a mirrored pick guard on HIS bass... Philip Lynott, that's why!

@Xripulipaska "I deliver the fatal blow..."

just one of the best.."warriors" .. bbc sessions 1976...aint live, but fuckin does it for me..

photo of the best line-up. Robbo is one of the UK's forgotten great rock guitarists. Gorham is one of the coolest fellas I've ever seen interviewed.

@znuto fuck the 70's ,bring it BACK!!!

this sounds like an iron maiden song. 1 more reason why they were way ahead of their time. long live thin lizzy!

this whole song is awesome, but 2:00 to the end is what to 70s was all about, hands down!
Downey could *swing* better than ANY other rock drummer I know. Listen to "For Those Who Love to Live" for a good example, or even the much-derided "Fats" from "Renegade."
Like Lizzy itself, Downey was criminally underrated.
