Baden-Baden, Germany, 140. Goldene Peitsche (name of the race)
Overdose lost his 15th start, 7th place from 12 horses.
I'm sad, but looking forward to see him win again.
It's not a shame to lose, only a shame when you give up!
Heartfelt greetings to all Overdose fans!

Overdose got to the lead and weaked out of it in the end. Expected when he hasd been laid off and returning from injury. The winner, Amico Fritz finished last of 15 in in the Prix Maurice de Gheest in its previous start and fifth behind Starspangledbanner in the Golden Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot. Overdose will prove to be very good when it reaches its peak, but has a way to go to capture the title of world's best turf sprinter, currenltly shared by Sacred Kingdom and Starspangledbanner.

He shouldn't run, when he didn't want to. At the time of start he was already tired and not enthusiastic for the race. I think he will prove next time that he still is the star.
