I think it's an underrated scene when the group flees the city. Watch the High rise (in the background) start to shut down. That just shows how the city is shutting down.

@donovan1971 Yeah it's probably twice my age, and technically qualifies as a piece of furniture more so than electronic equipment. It's been the hand me down of TV's in my family. Planning on getting a nice flat screen HD after I move this winter. The old Zenith will never be scrapped though. It looks waaay too cool....and honestly there's nothing quite like watching NOTLD or DOTD on that beast since I hooked my DVD player up. Like a time warp. Perfect baby....perfect!!!

BTW. It looks sick on that flat screen. What kind is that? I need a new one. Im still living under a rock with my old Zenith.

@DucknCoverin I haven't heard someone mention Zenith in ages (lol). Romero was great with the background stuff. My favourite part of the movie is the first 20 minutes, especially the Television station, what a great way to start a film...all that anarchy with the crew. Fantastic!!!!

You have to watch this video with the captions on. At one point the word Jeffery Dalmer popped up. I've NEVER referred to that in my life. I love these captions

..also the digital clock display says "6:00" when it was actually supposed to be 9:00 (according to Stephen at the beginning when telling Fran "meet on the rooftop..." - blooper..
