  • Hey Ted-Why not the actual audio from the video instead of something from the record? It was a "rough" show, but appropriate, I think. This looks a bit fake and polished, like a music video ready to sell. Maybe thats what it is!-C

  • Oh man, we tried to use the actual audio from the show but the copy we had was way too rough. Rumor is that there's a good soundboard recording of the show and, if so, then we'll use that for future projects. Ted was gracious to loan us the original video to make this short clip. Any blame belongs fully on the shoulders of the dudes who cut it up and added audio (hint: see credits).

  • Man! I love seeing this! What a great band! First caught them & Mercyland at The Fallout Shelter in Raleigh, NC. Sad but not surprised to discover Laura is gone. She was wild beyond belief. Like Darby Crash locked in a 4 and a half foot tall woman. Me & Snuzz smoked a bone with her before the show & didn't realize she was female until she hit the stage. She jumped from table to table kicking people's beers over and rolled around like she was on fire. Amazing performer, hard to know privately.

  • UnFUCKING BELIEVABLE! It's her!! This is just great, many many thanks for putting this up!

  • Great tunes. Can you still thier music ?

  • I talked to L.C. a couple of times. She was very nice. I had a crush on Claire but never talked to her.

  • I remember driving up to see this show, drinking Oil Cans and these guys totally ripped the old 40 watt that night! Thanks for posting this!

  • I was just in Athens and it doesn't change much, very reassuring

  • I think I do remember the White Dot! Jeez, that's ancient stuff.

  • The White Dot...does anyone remember ?

  • Nostalgic. I remember being afraid of L.C. and could never bring myself to talk to her. She was actually very nice, funny. She was really the first androgenous person I met (back in 1984).

  • Real audio or not, good to see live BBQ in all their craziness. A-and the world is worse off without you, Laura. You are missed.
