I know this is like a few years to late to reply. But yeah I agree with you. I loved Courtney and AJ....and yes they could have been the next Monica and Alan only if the stupid head writters to be would have written AJ better. He was so poorly written and thrown to the side for Jason. Which I am sorry to say AJ is a much better character and Billy is a much better actoe.

AJ and Courtney could have been the next Alan and Monica, but no, AJ was used so the writers could shove the Corrinthos family down our throats. I miss AJ. He got one of the rawest deals ever in the soap world.
