The Girl on the Stairs -Ellie

The Story:

Four girls spend the day in town. On the walk back from town their attention turns to a house. Not any house. An old house. They had heard about the house before, but dismissed any information as rumours. Just as they are about to continue past the house curiosity gets the better of Emma as she asks the question, 'Who's going in first?'. Beckie suggests Katie, the new member to their group of friends. Not wanting to chicken out, Katie obliges and enters the house. Upon entering the house, Katie comes across a little girl, in a white dress and black hair asking her if she has come to save her and claiming she 'doesn't want to die'. Katie continues on into the house. The three remaining girls become increasingly worried about the length of time Katie has spent in the house. Vicki and Emma approach the door with a hesitant Beckie left behind. As Vicki and Emma enter the house Beckie runs after them, shouting. They find Katie huddled up in a corner of the living room of the house. As they start to crowd Katie, she stands up and runs out the house, the others following.
Two months later, the girls are at Katie's house for a sleepover whilst Katie is mysteriously stabbed. When Emma finds Katie dead on the kitchen floor, she runs to tell the others -not before picking up her sandwich, which has conveniently just been poisoned by none other than the little girl from the house. When Vicki and Beckie go to see Katie's body for themselves to check, Emma settles down to eat, choking to death on the poisonous sandwich.
After taking Emma's body out to be with Katie's, Vicki claims she needs the toilet, Beckie is unsure and tells her to hurry, as she doesn't want to be left alone. As Vicki enters the bathroom, the little girl appears behind her and strangles her.
A year on from the deaths of her friends, Beckie writes a suicide note explaining how she has started to see the little girl. Not wanting to die in pain, Beckie drowns herself in the bath.

Thanks for watching. We hope you enjoyed it, a lot of things went wrong and we know it isn't the best. Two of the girls pulled out only a couple of days before filming and we couldn't find anybody to replace them. This is the first -and probably the last- film we will make, but we tried to make it as enjoyable as possible.
