1° of Celebrations is an event hosted by 1° Initiative at National Museum, Dhaka on 18 July 2009. It was aimed at promoting creative endeavors of underprivileged children. Participating schools were Aalok Shishu Shikkhaloy (a concern of Afzalunnessa Foundation), JAAGO Foundation and Ekmattra. For 2 months, 1dI volunteers worked tirelessly in collaboration with the schools to train the kids for the performances. This clip shows pieces from the rehearsal/planning sessions.
