This is simple guys. He was obviously going down a hill to achieve most of this because he was coasting most of the time and when he was loosing speed he started the vehicle back up. When it was back up to speed turn the engine off. When the vehicle is off don't step on your brakes too much or it is very hard to stop. If you don't want to record any mileage on your car then don't turn the key back on.

unfortunately doing this in automatics (especially FWD vehicles) will jack up our transmission. Next best option for us is to coast in neutral.

i have achieved 56 mpg (4.2 l/100km) with D4D diesel toyota corolla (90hp)along a yourney of 156 miles (250 km).the computer was reset before trip and after 156 miles ride it was reading 56 mpg.
No rpms at 65 something is f##ked up

downhill, yes, pulled, no, zero traffic and with a manual transmission, no issues there..
