As Christians love to point out; a painting has a painter, therefore the Universe has a maker. But, to use some logic, surely, the painter must be more complex than the painting, if he were able to create it. This applies also to the Universe and it's maker. So I disagree, I don't think the chances of a god existing forever are greater than the Universe coming into being by itself.

Also your understanding of the Big Bang is somewhat lacking.
