  • u guys are retarted the raise is to make better hands that could have made it to the river in Villains Range Fold please tell me what hands IN VILLAINS RANGE does Hero beat by the river if he just flats??

  • @NimhOfJoy i agree Jx 5x hands should not be betting full pot for val. Those type of hands may bet the turn however have showdown val so should check riv. Given that your right its probably a bad raise especially against a tight opponent. The only other hand that could bet full pot would be AA or any pocket pair that is a boat. I meant if they were valuebetting a hand that was weak it would be a good raise but not for a full pot bet.

  • @tylerg0089 As a result, villain's range is a) hands that are betting and are never folding to a raise and b) hands that hero beats. There is no point in raising into this range, as all we accomplish is giving more money to villain when he has the nuts (or at least an unfoldable hand) without gaining any equity by folding out stuff we beat. The only way the raise could be good is if we intend to induce a shove from his bluffs, but that's many levels above what I expect is happening here.

  • @tylerg0089 Villain is very unlikely to pot Jx/5x on the river, as they both have showdown value and are probably ahead of hero's "ch flop, ca turn" range on this board. He could bet them for value, but he'd probably not pot it. He can possibly pot Kx or KJ exactly, but I don't expect those hands to fold to a raise, given hero's line doesn't really represent much unless hero has shown a tendency to slowplay, as most better hands would want to bet earlier streets to build a pot.

  • @NimhOfJoy you would rather a call? then he can lose to a hand that has a 5 in it. or any pocket pair that will fold. Some bad players bet jack x on river but usually this line is pretty bluffy especially as the board gets bigger and villian still bets unless its a nutted hand. Check flop bet turn bet riv can mean lots of things. Its a polarized line. With his raise on the river he can rep some hands like Kx of spades or a slow played 7 or a hand like KJ.

  • @tylerg0089 Villain is probably not potting Jx on the river. Hero's raise w AQ is fucking terrible.

  • i like the raise if he just calls he could lose to a jack maybe

  • this was hillarious, villain either has nothing or a check, so were gonna take are bluff catching ace and turn it into a bluff and speww off all are chips,i hope you could get all the players on the site i play to take your poker tips lol, your a fish making poker tip vids hillarious

  • It makes no sense to bluff raise river here. If he truly has nothing AQ is probably the best hand so why not call unless he has like pocket 4's or something in which case bluff raising is profitable. I still don't like it here.

  • ridiculous video.gl in life
