Don't let the attacker reach your machine. You can connect additional sensors, for example PIR or simple switches.

  • isn't this kind of a "kindergarten" workaround? same powercycle, even needs a driver or tool to run on the host system......besides this seems to be just a pretty simple sensor with some very basic software... this given, pricing is hilarious.

    yeah, this is just a homeuser-"fun-gadget", but still i'd expect a bit "more" for that price - at least a built in UPS - without that - flip the fuse switch - you beat it, ergo completely useless.
