I have to disagree my friend. When you say 'soul', I think of passion and love for music. When I read/watch any interview with Jack, I can sense his passion for music in the way he describes how it makes him feel. Yeah, he can't hold a candle to Dan's voice and Meg's drumming is archaic. But, I think the soul and the passion are definitely there when they play, and a lot of it. All this said with zero discredit to The Black Keys, both amazing bands. Anywho, rock on.

@sirawsomeness yeah, I like the stripes too but, Keys are way better in my opinion as a guitarist/music guy.
