Detailed Steps:
1. Download iH8Sn0w & Custom Firmware
2. Back Up Device (Just plug up device & it will back up by itself)
3. Open iH8Sn0w (Make sure iTunes is closed)
4. Turn Device off
5. Put Device in DFU/Recovery Mode
6. Click Your Device (iH8Sn0w should crash & your iPhone should have a white screen)
7. Open iTunes & restore using your custom firmware
8. DONE!

Sorry I don't know what to tell you. I didn't actually do it because I have an iPhone 3G S. I guess you will have to put it back in DFU mode & then restore it to it's original settings.

yea what u do is put in recovery mode and by pressing the home button and make sure the I device is off or this wont work then try to restore it if ur using a custom ipsw u gotta use this thing its called iH8sn0w - iREB 3.1-3 For Windows.exe and it will prepare ur iphone or ipod touch for a custom IPSW hope this helps

go to itunes and update it first then do this jailbreak (only if you get the 1600 error)
