You don't need to read the graphic novel to understand the movie, but it does explain a lot of things that the movie didn't have time to address. That said, people who watched this looking for the usual superhero fare came off disappointed, thankfully. These idiots who want to pay to see the same shit over and over again just repackaged need to be separated from their money. For my money, this was the best "superhero" flick I ever saw. Sorry I'm late Nate, but glad you enjoyed it! I subscribed!
