Plz Subscribe - NOTE: Vengance is our Threat Booster to balance out the Threat Reduction In PTR and Now Live 4.0 - I have to say I really enjoyed making this video... Tanking In Regular Grim Batol was hella fun!.. I wanted to go over the Feral Tank Changes that will be coming up in cataclysm. I hope you enjoy watching this video as much as I did making it.

  • is it me or did u have more hp then 100k?

  • @ps3gamerful - I did have more than 100k, it was during cata beta I had around 111k. ;)

    its awesome!

  • What is the intro song dude?

    It sounds legendary.

  • @Tuzantar - One of the video editing software i used called Camtasia 7 has it in its pre packaged material. It is called come and play. It would be under the section library.

    Cheers, Thawee

  • So are druid tanks getting a buff in aoe tanking.....because iv heard that druids are going to be really bad at aoe tanking in cata.....so what i want to know is are druids going to be better at aoe in cata or worse.

  • @Jakeiscole - Post 3 - I also wanted to point out that threat is way more responsive now. What I mean is in Wotlk, When a tank has aggro on a group of mobs, and a dps attacks a target the tank is not currently working on he doesn't have to worry about threat for some time. In Cata Beta it doesn't work that way, The threat system is way!! more responsive, so if dps is attacking a target that is not one the tank is working Boop Dead dps.

Hope That Cleared Some Things up.

    Take Care, Thawee

  • can you mae a guide for druid tanking at lower levels, and the new applications of thorns and things like that. currently at level 32, i find aoe tanking a pain. i have to wait for thorns everytime before a pull, and when i dont things get messy, situations where adds get pulled in during a fight, where i cant shift out to cast thorns normally cause threat to fly around everywhere, and everyone ends up tanking 2 adds of their own. if you could provide some adive on dealing with that itd be good.

  • @indigoseth ok thank you=)

  • @Jakeiscole - Post 2 - Blizzard has done alot to normalize threat across the board, and give each tank a common threat modifier called vengeance which at its max is based on 10% of each tanks total hit points. I keep hearing that Threat has been reduced across the board in 4.0.1, and I don't agree with this idea completely because a lot of the threat issues, I think are based on the low hit points of the current tanks, and vengeance is designed to work with nearly double that. • @Jakeiscole - Post 1 - Well to be as honest as I can, My information is limited to tanking a normal instance with similarly geared dps. I wasn't noticing any aggro issues with my druid tank. In fact it was easier to tank in cata beta than I have ever experienced since I started playing my feral tank a few years ago.. In my honest opinion I am going to say that feral tanks are going to be better in cata then they currently are. Continue Post 2
