Try lowering the output level of your pedals, and maybe the amps gain level. As for the bass, theres a nice little button on there called 'bass'. If you turn that down, it gets less bassy. If you use the right settings it can definitely overpower any drummer.
I have the same amp aswell and I know what youre talking about as far as the pedals go. However, its just a matter of dialing in the right settings. So please, dont be pissed at your amp for not knowing how to use it properly.

that was really good, idk if its just me but i think your guitar was just lacking the sustain, other than that, its near perfect

but I have a question:
I want to buy the vox amp that u play and i was wondering if it's good for metal and stuff. :D
hey man i am a player of classic rock a i like play many songs of pink floyd and im looking for reviews of the amp ad50vtxl so what did you think about the delay on this amp? and the gain ca be used for classik rock? i heard many comments about the amp and they say they contain mush bass and are only recommend for metal player is that trut?

Hey man....the Delay is great and the distortion sounds awesome for classic rock. But if you don't play heavier stuff like metal I'd personally take the normal AD50Vt because it's much more versatile than the XL.(I've got also an AD15Vt)
