@Stcs94 You need both. Most fighers boxing, MMA, Kick Boxing etc with do cardio with weights. But I agree with what you said about lifting to much weight.

rocky didn#t do to much weight training, up to today he#s still seen as the best conditioned heavyweight of all time.
he jogged everyday about 5 miles, up t0 15 before a fight, even 7 on christmas morning.
he trained with 300 LB bags which made his from nature rockhard punch even harder, transforiming it into Suzie Q.
he didn#t only hurt you when he hit you, he also hurt you when you hit him, many of his opponents, including joe, said it was like hitting a brickwall, even bumping into him hurt.

@ah93704 im not trying to be rude but dude everyone know too much weight training is bad. It slows u down. If u gave me the choice between fighting a heavy that was more lean or fucking jacked id choose the jacked guy cuz id be faster and i have power as it is
-
Agreed. My point is that if you took Rocky as he was when he was fighting he would not be competitive with the super heavies of today. His conditioning was incredible though. He would typically be in training camp for 4 1/2 months before a fight. No one does that.

@mreman2 why is Tyson number 2? I know he's shit, but thats just cold!
-
@46spoony you have no imagination. If Rocky were alive today he would be naturally bigger (better nutrition has caused people to get bigger these days) and plus he'd have weight training to his advantage..not to mention supplements and roids...use yuor imagination
-
@mreman2 ahahah you are dumb
-
vegetarians make the best fighters

Right. How many football and basketball players from Rocky's era could compete today? Not many. Does anybody think guys like Frank Gifford would even get drafted today?
Rocky would be a helluva cruiserweight, though.
I wish i could but i don't have it brother, thx for your reaction
