So your saying that having the mark does not necessarily mean that they have their respective triforce piece within them?

@MyLittlePiranhaFish1 In the case of the Triforce of Courage no. After all that is exactly what happened in Zelda II, the mark was given to him by the kings spell, not by the Triforce itself.

To back it up, The Triforce pieces glow whenever they are within close proximity to each other. it happened in ocarina and wind waker. however in twilight princess, link may have the mark on his hand, but when he fought gannondorf, there was no cutscene or clear sign that he ever had the triforce of courage. what I'm thinking is the twilight princess link was also eligible to save the original zelda but was never told about it, unlike in AoL.

@mafuletrekkie right, so in OoT we cant tell whether it was due to reaching a certain age or gaining the ToC after ganondorf causes the triforce to separate, WW was after gaining the ToC, OoX it could be either, like OoT, and Tp Link must have the ToC in him or he wouldn't have been able to survive in the twilight. ok cheers
