I've been doing this song live on and off for years and very few people know who originally did the song. When I get someone who knows, they usually flip out because its such a cool tune!

Its usually played a whole step down in drop D tuning, but I have it 1/2 step down because I usually have 13s on this guitar but happen to have 12s on it today, which would make the strings have too much slack and sound janggly! (Is that even a word? Was that a run on sentence???)


When trying to do a song like this, one should always warm up. I didn't. Dumb move, but I think I did kinda ok...

I wouldrather have used my cutaway Taylor W14C, but that is a much more delicate sounding guitar. My Alvarez Yiari is a more aggressive guitar. Only problem is l used my iMac's built in condenser mic, but should have used one of my studio condensers. It would have sounded much, much better.
