How on earth is he ranking up medal value so fast? I can see it has something to do with bombing as many enemies as possible in one blast consecutively. But when I try this strategy, I'm lucky if I end the stage with under 10,000. It still baffles me how he is able to get the highest value of medals before the boss battle.

the game works like this, the better you do, the harder it gets. Every 100,000 points you get, will give you an extra life, however this will crank up the difficulty. in order to keep the game playable, you have to die often to keep the difficulty down.

They are bombs. To get bombs you collect "bomb-fragments". You can fire even a single bomb-fragment, but the power and time of the bomb will be reduced. Having 40 fragments will combine into one bomb. You can get bomb-fragments from enemies, buildings and by suiciding ( 20 fragments ).

OK, but what is this "BOMBAH!" the character keeps saying?

Can't be 'literal' bombs... right? (you know, those that usually kiil all enemies/bullets around) No shooters usually have bombs being used repeteadly in ONE life...

Nevertheless, it seems cool; I always laugh when hearing this video.:P "BOMBAH! BOMBAH! BOMBAH!"
